Additional data we may hold
- Right to Rent share codes, passport or immigration documents, and check dates.
- Referencing reports, including credit indicators, landlord or employer references, and affordability notes.
- Guarantor identity and contact data.
- Deposit amounts, scheme membership details, and inventory or checkout reports.
- Rent ledger, arrears correspondence, and repair reports during a tenancy we manage.
Why we need it
Landlords instruct us to find suitable occupiers and, where we manage, to run the tenancy lawfully. That includes affordability, identity, Right to Rent, deposit protection, repairs and possession procedures. Without this data we often cannot proceed with an application.
Who sees application data
The landlord (or their solicitor), referencing providers, the deposit scheme, utility or council contacts where we are instructed to notify them, and courts or enforcement officers if a dispute goes that far. We share the minimum needed for each purpose.
Automated decisions
Referencing suppliers may use automated scoring. A high-level outcome may be produced automatically, but a letting decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you is not taken solely by our website without human review on our side.
Your choices
You can ask us not to proceed with an application. We may still keep limited records where we have a legal or insurance reason (for example a Right to Rent check already completed, or a holding-deposit calculation). See the main Privacy notice for ICO contact details and your rights.
